Why Hot Beats Are Important

Rival Schools gets their name, and the name of their debut album United By Fate, from an obscure arcade game that was later ported to the PlayStation. So before I had even heard a single note played by founding member and front man Walter Schreifels, these guys had already grabbed this nerd's attention. Then I heard the record. It only took one play to cement its place among my favorite albums of all time. The album didn't leave my player for ages at a time, and the CD served as the soundtrack to my life for a good long while. I loved this band.

Not surprising, either.

The album's cumulative sales (hard and digital) now add up to 613,000. Whoa!

Way to go, guys! Rolling Stone may not have named either of the King of Hip Hop, but you two are definitely the kings of the Billboard right now.

Arts and Entertainment from EzineArticles.com

It may be increasingly difficult to part with cash for art supplies during the current economic climate but there are several ways to bag a bargain. The rising cost of living coupled with stagnant wages may discourage some from spending their disposable income on art materials but if you look hard enough it is still possible to discover supplies for the right price. A growing number of artists are turning into online shoppers in order to find their favourite art supplies as this allows them to stay at home and concentrate on learning new...

The third season of Glee will return on Fox on Tuesday September 20 and today we get our first look at the first promo video for the show. As you can see below, dodgeball is the theme of this new promo video and Sue Sylvester is the one in control. Altho the clip doesn’t show any footage from the new season, it’s a pretty fun little promo that I think is worth watching. Check it out below.

I really love that they used the Go-Go’s song We Got the Beat for this first season 3 promo video. That said, I’m very worried that Glee will no longer be must see TV for me anymore. I started to lose interest last season so, yeah, they’re gonna hafta work hard to keep me as a faithful watcher. This clip is fun tho. It reminds me of why I liked the show in the first place. We’ll have to see if they can bring it in season 3 … or not.

Is Gigi Goyette Arnold Schwarzeneggers Mistress #2?

Former child actress Gigi Goyette is claiming she too had an affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger while he was married to Maria Shriver. Oh yeah the plot thickens my friends and it is looking like someone is finding himself in some deep you know what. Is there any truth to this chick’s claims, well she has hired the one and only Gloria Allred so I am thinking there must be some sort of truth to her claims. After all Gloria is the go to lawyer for former lovers of celebs who now find themselves in the midst of a scandal. E! online is reporting that Gigi and Arnold had an intimate relationship back in 1975 when he was body building and she was a 16-year old actress. Then for whatever reason the two parted ways until resuming their relationship again in 1988. That is right my friends three years after Schwarzenegger got hitched to Shriver. As for what Goyette wants or why she is coming forward now we don’t know yet and for once Allred is keeping her mouth shut. I highly doubt that will happen for much longer though. I have a feeling that we might just have another Tiger [...]

Steven Spielberg Had Megan Fox Fired From Transformers After Hitler Comment!

Yikes!!! You do NOT want to get on the bad side of Steven Spielberg!
Megan Fox did just that when she insulted her Transformers director Michael Bay by comparing him to Hitler. When Spielberg heard about the remark, he demanded that Fox was fired from the Transformers franchise.
Bay said, "You know the Hitler thing. [...]

Garbage In Art Out

Have you ever watched a show that involves dolphins jumping out of the water? If you haven't watched how they perform stunt, then you better get out of the house and watch them perform. It can be a lot of fun and entertaining for you and your family. Kids would sure to love seeing how they jump through frames just like the way how it make you feel good. It amazes you how they can follow their trainers with ease. Even if they are trained, not all aquatic animals can do such amazing stunts. They really are intelligent and friendly, as well.

Life As a Script Reader

The greatest artistic creative genius I've ever seen, have been those who can turn garbage into art. Not just gluing together junk, but really making waste into something unique, cool, and well, something you'd put into your home for instance. There's something to be said about recycling and repurposing of those items we commonly throw away.

The Three Badfinger Songs With A Beatles Connection

A series of bands following The Beatles who decided to occupy the similar environs of melodic pop have largely been disregarded by many inhabitants of the mainstream music press. One of those melodic pop collectives who I believe have been unfairly overlooked in this respect is ELO, the band taken to prominence in the 70s and early 80s by Birmingham songwriter and performer Jeff Lynne. I would consider the 1978 album 'Out Of The Blue' to be their best work and there are several songs on there that could seriously be considered amongst their finest.

My All Time Favourite 10cc Songs

An article about this wonderful aria from Mozart's opera "Figaro" which I truly feel is one of Mozart's finest. This despite not getting the attention it deserves given the number of great arias to be found in Mozart's opera "Figaro". "Via, Resti Servita, Madama Brillante" being about two nice ladies, competing for the affections of the same man and basically hurling polite insults at each other. This as the two of them argue over who should exit the room first.

Yes!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!

We are thrilled to present what is one of our top FAVORITE songs off Born This Way!

Available exclusively on the deluxe edition of, Fashion Of His Love is one of the first songs GaGa wrote for the new album - and it is, in our opinion, easily one of the best!

It is like a shot of adrenaline to the heart! It is ear porn! It is love and happiness and hope all bottled into one exquisite package!

To us, it's very reminiscent of old school Whitney. Think I Wanna Dance With Somebody 2011.

In other words, it's PERFECTION!

Bryn Terfel: Wotan For A New Age

Selah starts off their "Greatest Hymns Album" with ' Be Thou My Vision". What an appropriate beginning for such an album depicting such wonderful hymns. What a wonderful song and so timely. It was only in 1905 that a lady named Mary E. Byrne translated the words into English. Such words that had been hidden to us for thousands of years that date back to a writer named Dallan Forgaille who lived between 530 and 598.

OMFG!!!!!!! You have GOT to watch this clip from a recent episode of the long-running game show Jeopardy. Host Alex Trebek asks the contestants to identify the “flamboyant singer” performing a bit of music … and the first guy to make a guess mistakes Lady Gaga‘s song Born This Way for a Madonna song! It’s just too hilarious for words. Check out the clip below.

I can’t even … I mean … LOL!!! To be honest, the guy who answered incorrectly shouldn’t feel bad … he made the same mistake that countless people who have heard Born This Way have been making for months now. This video was just too amazingly funny not to share ;D
